Bordeaux

Moulis en Medoc

A blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot, the 2021 Poujeaux has a medium to deep garnet-purple color. Vibrant notions of redcurrant jelly, raspberry pie, and kirsch jump from the glass, leading to hints of camphor, pencil lead, and underbrush. The light to medium-bodied palate is soft and lively and fresh, finishing with a skip in its step.

Fresh acidities but well expressed fruit, majoring on blueberry and cassis, with an attractive sense of engagement and momentum. Hard to find a creamy mid palate in 2021, but the oak has integrated over ageing, and there is charm here. Mathieu and Philippe Cuvelier owners, Christophe Labenne director, consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt. Tasted twice.

Medium intensity deep plum colour, fragrant cumin and turmeric spice, this is enjoyable, sappy, a little leafy for sure but manages to capture the old school charm of a cooler Médoc vintage, and will deliver pleasure for a long time to come. Harvest September 27 to October 9. 33hl/h yield, 3.85ph, Mathieu Cuvelier owner. Tasted twice.

Veldig mot de mørke morellene, syrlige bringebær, kanel og sedertre.

Smak av bringebær og moreller. Veldig balansert.

Rustic tannins, feels heartfelt and old school in a way that is extremely rare in the vintage. There are still tight tannins here, and the spice of hte vintage, alongside attractive floral notes and ripe berry fruits.

Bra nerve i vinen. Drikker godt nå. Sitter lenge.

The 2019 Poujeaux is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. It features scents of cassis, black raspberries, and redcurrants, followed by wafts of wild thyme and cedar. Medium-bodied, the palate has uncomplicated black fruits on offer, going a tad hollow in the middle and chewy on the finish.

The 2018 Poujeaux is deep garnet purple in color. It slowly unfurls to reveal warm cassis, black cherries, and mocha, with hints of lavender and bay leaves. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a great core of generous fruit, with grainy tannins plus bags of freshness, finishing long and savory.

Litt røk smak men dyp rød med jord og lær smak me d mørke bær. Helt himmelsk til en wagu biff.

The 2013 Poujeaux is medium garnet in color, with a touch of brick. It has a very subtle nose of smudged, dried berries and fruitcake, followed by wafts of fallen leaves and damp soil. The medium-bodied palate is firm, chewy, and skeletal, with a rugged finish.

Ch Poujeaux 2011.
En favoritt her i huset😍
🍷Dyp lilla
