Detapaencepa

It contains a blend of Mencía, Brancellao, Sousón, Garnacha, Tintorera and other grapes from 45 terraces of a south-facing slope at 400 to 600 meters in altitude. 

The color is completely dense. The nose is nevertheless airy and porous, but intensely fruity with blackcurrants, blackberries and crow-berries. There is also dry forest floor with moss and bark, and there is dark chocolate. It is very complex and appealing. The palate is medium-bodied, intensely fruity and medium-acidic. The tannins are noticeable but elegant. The wine is very elegant and yet there is a huge punch in the finish which is very long and complex. 

It is lovely to drink now, but can easily be aged for 10+ years.

Galicia

It contains a blend of many different grapes. There are Mencía, Merenzao, Sousón, Garnacha, Godello, Brencellao and other varieties from very old vines on granite terraces. 

The nose is airy, silky, porous and fruity with ripe strawberries, blackcurrants and crow-berries. It is complex and exciting. The palate is slim to medium-bodied, porous, intensely fruity, very acidic and with noticeable but well-integrated tannins. The finish is long, structured and fruity. 

It’s lovely now, but could easily be aged for 5+ years.
