The 2023 Soleil is deep garnet-purple in color. Notes of plum pudding and Christmas cake lead to underlying wafts of wild fungi, tobacco, and balsamic. The medium-bodied palate delivers dried berry flavors with a tart backbone and chewy tannins, finishing rustic. The blend is 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc.

A blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2022 Soleil is deep garnet-purple in color. It flies out of the glass with notes of prunes, raisin cake, and Chinese five spice, plus wafts of wild fungi, tobacco leaf, and smoked meats. The full-bodied palate is chock-full of spicy dried berry flavors, with a chewy texture and a rugged finish.
