The 2018 Soutard is deep garnet-purple in color. It offers vibrant scents of blueberry preserves and baked blackberries, with hints of underbrush, violets, and cedar. Full-bodied, the palate has firm, ripe, rounded tannins and a nice, refreshing backbone, with a long and earthy finish.

The 2023 Soutard is deep garnet-purple in color. It needs a lot of swirling to unlock notes of juicy plums and blackberry preserves, followed by nuances of Sichuan pepper, violets, and black olives. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is plush and juicy, with fantastic tension and a fragrant finish.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2022 Soutard comes bounding out with exuberant notes of blueberry compote, preserved plums, and Morello cherries, leading to hints of lavender and licorice. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with black fruit preserves and floral layers with a velvety texture and racy backbone, finishing long and fragrant.

A blend of 70% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, 7% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Malbec, the 2021 Soutard has a deep garnet-purple color. Scents of blackberry pie, juicy plums, and spice cake jump from the glass, leading to hints of mossy stones and fragrant earth. Medium-bodied, the palate is plush and lively, with delicate black fruit layers and a spicy finish.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2020 Soutard skips out with a pretty bouquet of red roses, cinnamon toast, and kirsch, giving way to a core of warm red plums, black raspberries, tar, and star anise. The full-bodied palate is plush and graceful, with mouth-filling red fruit and baking spice flavors, and a seamless, quiet intensity to the finish.
