Klassisk fersk Bordeaux, 5 år. Elegant med litt smak av solbær og tydelig snerp. Mørke bær, personlig merker jeg litt pepper. Perfekt til biff.

Oh Dear Aker Brygge

Deep garnet-purple colored. Has a very oaky start on the nose with wafts of dried herbs, vague berries, and dusty soil in the background. The light, thin palate is lean, green, and mean.

La Tour de By 2023 is deep garnet-purple in color. It offers only very faint notes of plum preserves, dried mulberries, wild sage, and cranberries. The light to medium-bodied palate is thin and lightly chewy with hardly any fruit or finish.

The 2022 La Tour de By is deep garnet-purple in color. Notes of juicy plums, blackberry preserves, and black raspberry waft from the glass with hints of spice cake and dusty soil. The medium-bodied palate is soft and juicy, with bags of black fruit and spicy layers, finishing with an herbal lift.

Touches of brett or perhaps earthy geosmin on the nose, there are dark fruits here and tannic structure but it struggles to reach full ripeness. Tour de By is an estate that can produce wonderful drinking claret in good vintages, but it is a little dilute in 2021. 50hl/h yield.

Inside Bordeaux

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2020 La Tour de By offers up subtle scents of juicy blackberries and mulberries, followed by wafts of damp soil, dried herbs, and charcoal. The medium-bodied palate is soft and uncomplicated, with soft-spoken black fruit flavors and a savory finish.

Increasingly rare to find classic, balanced, old school Cru Bourgeois that has been in the same family for over 100 years, making this brilliant wine even more worth savouring. Just so enjoyable, full of dark brambled fruits, tobacco leaf, pencil lead and eucalyptus, with a ton of Haut-Médoc personality, one to recommend. 33% new oak. Owned by the Nony family since 1900.
