The 2023 Trocard is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. It has quite an herbal nose to start off, giving way to a core of red and black plums and wild strawberries with a hint of wet slate. The medium-bodied palate confirms the dominant green/herbal flavors, with crushy red fruit in the background and a lively line, finishing chewy.

The 2021 Trocard is medium garnet-purple in color. It has quite an herbal nose giving way to scents of Bing cherries and strawberries, plus a hint of pencil lead. The palate is medium-bodied, green, and underripe, with hard tannins and a bitterness on the finish.

The 2020 Trocard is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. It offers up scents of Morello cherries, mulberries, and juicy plums, plus hints of wild sage and forest floor. The medium-bodied palate has lovely energy and nice, ripe, rounded tannins, with a red berry lift on the finish.
