A delicious wine, showcasing an elegant use of oak, well balanced, saline finish, ripe without being heavy, this is good quality. Aging on fine lees in 50% new oak barrels, with regular lees stirring. One to look out for, a great vintage at this estate.

Inside Bordeaux

Scents of Bosc pears, juicy peaches, and green apples leap from the glass of the 2022 Caroline, with touches of honeysuckle and lemon zest. The medium-bodied palate has plenty of intensity and freshness, with a spicy kick to the finish.

A blend of 60% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Semillon, the white 2021 cuvee Caroline de Chantegrive has a nose of fresh green apples and Bosc pears, plus suggestions of coriander seed and allspice. The light-bodied palate is energetic and lively, with apple-inspired flavors and a wonderfully pure finish.

Bright fruits, peach and pear, fragrant white flowers, good texture, depth through the mid palate, has real weight. This is impressive, and this is a great name to look out for in white Bordeaux, delivering again here. Lots to enjoy.
