51 hl/ha. Famille Jean-jacques De Bethmann, lime and citrus zest aromatics, lovely grip, depth and lift, ôpwerful austere, high acidity,  this feels like it is teetering on the edge of a great great white wine, and i can't wait to taste in bottle.

Inside Bordeaux

Soft green gold in colour; subdued on the nose, then unrolls to show kiwi, savoury pear, white pepper spice, precise and scuplted, with fresh acidities and slate texture. 45hl/ha yield.

Under-ripe pineapple, persimmons, and lemon tart notes waft from the glass of the 2022 Olivier Blanc, followed by suggestions of lime leaves and sea spray. The medium-bodied palate is crisp and clean, with great intensity and an invigorating finish.

The white 2021 Olivier has lively notions of grapefruit and Granny Smith apples leading on the nose, opening out to wafts of lime leaves and crushed rocks. The medium-bodied palate has great tension and expression, with a long zesty finish.

Deftly drawn, subtle and charming, creamy through the mid palate, with poise and complexity. Excellent citrus and mango character, lemongrass, slate and a kick of joyful uplift on the finish. A healthy, particularly for the vintage, 51hl/ha yield.

A blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc and 20% Semillon, the 2019 Olivier Blanc opens with notions of white peaches, juicy pears, and lemon drops, plus a waft of cedar. The medium-bodied palate reveals impressive intensity, with plenty of citrus and chalky layers and a zesty lift on the finish.

Citrus and cucumber give a fresh opening, but as it settles in the glass it's richer and riper in its flavour profile than you usually find in Olivier, so possibly not as long ageing as some vintages. But it's still worth engaging with, a serious and textured wine, with touches of honeysuckle, bitter almond, iodine and even liquorice. Yield of 51hl/ha.
