The nose is fruity with black currants, cherries and some raspberries. There are also moist red roses and some chocolate. It is complex and elegant. The palate is quite lean, intensely fruity and with a nice balancing acidity. The tannins are fine-grained, soft and well integrated. The finish is long and acidic. It is a beautiful wine that is at the start of its perfect drinking window. It paired well with sirloin with fat from Prima Jæren. 95 points.
