I should drink more Rhone Valley wines, 2020 Cote Rotie by Stephen Oger was great starting with saturated, and opaque colour and a delightful blend of black cherries and blueberries complemented by violets, red and black pepper, smoked bacon, and flinty minerals.⁠

On the palate, the wine mirrors the aroma, showcasing lovely purity and spiciness. It paired perfectly with the steak, thanks to its mineral and flinty acidity that cuts through, refreshing the palate. The ageing potential is remarkable; this wine can evolve beautifully for another 20-30 years. 92+⁠

Dry with high acidity. Medium- tannins, medium alcohol, medium body and pronounce flavor intensity.Blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, red cherry , raspberry, tobacco, forest floor, prune, pepper and game. Long aftertaste. Outstanding.
