The color is quite dark and dense. The nose is intensely fruity with raspberries, blackberries and crow berries. There is also resin, wet forest floor in autumn and black tea. It is complex and appealing. 

The palate is fruity, as for the nose. It is medium-bodied, velvety and with good acidity. It is complex and balanced. There is no sign of cooked fruit as one would expect from a warm vintage in this area. The finish is long and fruity. 

It is a brilliant wine that is at the very beginning of its best drinking window. This can be enjoyed for the next 20 years. It paired perfectly with duck confit with red wine risotto.

Medium ruby

Lukt: voldsomt kompleks på duft. Man kan lukte på den til imorgen tidlig. Rød plomme, lavendel, noe urter, pepper, søt lakris, treverk, ingefær, noe kjøttaktig, og en del annet rød og mørke bær (kirsebær, blåbær?)

Smak: god munnfølelse i inngang, det er plomme og noe annet bær fram til avslutning, så smeller det med urter, vanilje, treverk, krydder (pepper,kanel) og bær. 

Noe “rotete” vin. Man Kjenner også alk. Savner noe mer i innslag og midtparti. Neste flaske om noen år.



The nose is fruity with black currants, cherries and crow berries. There is also forest floor in the fall, black tea and raw meat. It is complex and appealing. 

The palate is full-bodied, velvety, intensely fruity and with a very good acidity. It is balanced and appealing. The finish is long and acidic. 

It pairs perfectly with Confit de Canard. It is lovely to drink now, but can develop positively for another 10 years.

Smak av moreller og svisker litt fat.
God lengde. Utrolig god!

Amatør

Dufter av krisebær, jordbær, nype, lær, jordtoner, rosepepper og feromoner. Smaken er lik, og dette er både kraft og eleganse der det er mye primært fortsatt. Men det er silkemykt med eleganse og finesse. Lett syrlig men fortsatt godt med tørrstoff her. Ettersmaken er lang, demokrat og overraskende intens men elegant der krisebør, metall, trøffel sitter med tanniner.
