Clearly succeeds in 2016, providing a wine with ripe plump black cherry and raspberry fruits that avoids being overpowering. No need to wait too long, this is one to look out for. 40% new oak, average age of vines 40 years, manual harvest. Yield 50hl/h. Just 5.15ha estate with clay, gravel and limestone soils, owned by Martial Mignet.

Inside Bordeaux

Medium ruby colour, well balanced, silky, enjoyable, this is ready to drink and full of pleasure. Red cherry, raspberry, feathery tannins that are well worked with a kick of spice and acidity on the finish. 40% new oak, yield 48hl/h, Martial Mignet owner.
