A blend of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2023 Grand Destieu is deep garnet-purple in color. On the nose, notes of cedar and plum preserves give way to scents of bay leaves, pencil shavings, and fragrant earth. Medium-bodied, the palate is driven by oak at this stage, with a chewy texture and a firm, grippy finish.

The 2021 Grand Destieu is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. Scents of kirsch, black raspberries, and fragrant soil on the nose open out to hints of underbrush and cracked black pepper. The medium-bodied palate is light on its feet with slightly chewy tannins and a refreshing line, finishing on a peppery note.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2020 Grand Destieu opens with pronounced notes of cedar and stewed plums leading to an undercurrent of dried herbs and damp soil. The medium-bodied palate delivers herb-laced black fruit preserves flavors, with a slight chewiness to the texture and a lively finish.
