The 2019 5 Fincas is a blend of 36% Grenache, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot 11% Syrah, 10% Samso, 9% Monastrell, and 1%, Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet colored, it features notes of blackberry pie, fruit cake, and raspberry preserves with hints of vanilla pod and Chinese five spice. The full-bodied palate delivers mouth-coating black and red berry preserves flavors with a lively line and lightly chewy tannins, finishing long and spicy. This was aged in 60% American oak and 40% French. Around 200,000 bottles were made.
