The 2021 One Acre Pinot Noir is pale ruby-purple in color. The most gorgeous perfume of rose oil, jasmine tea, and mandarin peel jumps from the glass, giving way to a core of fresh raspberries and cranberries with a waft of peonies. The light to medium-bodied palate is wonderfully fragrant, with seamless freshness and a silken texture, finishing with a quiet intensity that is mesmerizing. "We bought this 1-acre site in 2016, and just added another 3.4 acres," says owner/winemaker Ted Lemon. "It is a very high vineyard, at 1,600 feet."
