Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2022 IX Estate Syrah needs a little swirling to bring out classic violets and orange blossom scents, leading to a core of black cherry compote, blueberry preserves, and charcuterie, plus suggestions of licorice and garrigue. The medium to full-bodied palate is wonderfully perfumed with layers of savory-laced black and blue fruits and a plush texture, delivering seamless freshness, finishing long and perfumed. Gorgeous! Around 500 cases were made.

Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2021 IX Estate Syrah is a jaw-dropper from first sniff! Violets, forest floor, and fragrant dried leaves notes leap from the glass, leading to a core of juicy plums, fresh blackberries, and blueberries. The full-bodied palate is tight-knit and intense with rounded tannins and beautifully knit freshness, finishing long and spicy.
