Damson plum in colour, the fruit here is fully ripe, flirts with over-ripeness, edged with sticky dates and patisserie cream. The slow build of tannins helps balance things out, and this is well constructed, but it drops rather than rises on the finish.

Inside Bordeaux

Classic Médoc signature with layers of dark fruit, slate, cigar box and fresh mint on the finish. There is a touch of reduction right now that puts the emphasis on tight tannins but the fruits are slick and well extracted and this has life ahead.
