A blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, the 2023 de Saint-Pey has a deep garnet-purple color. It opens with oaky overtones, leading to a core of black cherries and juicy plums, plus hints of wild sage and mossy tree bark. The medium-bodied palate is chewy with appealing freshness, going a little thin on the mid-palate and short on the finish.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2022 de Saint Pey opens with oaky overtones leading to a gentle undercurrent of raspberry coulis and baked plums plus a hint of tapenade. The medium to full-bodied palate is a tad woody, overpowering the delicate fruits and finishing chewy.

The 2021 de Saint-Pey is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. Notions of stewed plums intermingled with cedary undertones give way to wafts of charcoal, lavender, and new leather on the nose. The medium-bodied palate is lively and soft, with delicate black fruits and a savory finish.

The 2020 de Saint-Pey is deep garnet-purple in color. Black cherry compote, juicy black plums, and wild blueberries jump from the nose, with wafts of dark chocolate and violets. The medium to full-bodied palate is chock full of bright, expressive black fruits, framed by soft tannins and finishing fragrant.
