The 2022 Lyndenhurst Cabernet Sauvignon, tasted as a barrel sample, is deep garnet-purple in color. Bold notions of baked blueberries and raspberries lead to a core of cassis, underbrush, and tar plus a hint of wild sage. The medium-bodied palate is plush and juicy, with loads of spicy sparks and an opulent finish. This is yummy.

The 2021 Lyndenhurst Cabernet Sauvignon is composed of 79.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10.6% Merlot, 3.8% Petit Verdot, 3.5% Cabernet Franc, and 2.9% Malbec. Deep garnet-purple in color, it comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant notes of blackberry pie, plum preserves, and warm cassis followed by suggestions of roses, Indian spices, and menthol plus a waft of aniseed. The medium-bodied palate has impressive energy, with great tension and fine-grained tannins supporting the vibrant fruit, leading to a long and perfumed finish on this impressive wine.

The 2020 Lyndenhurst Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 76.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10.3% Cabernet Franc, 6.7% Merlot, 5.6% Malbec, and 1.2% Petit Verdot. There is a bit more Cabernet Franc this year than usual and less Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple in color, it sashays out with gregarious scents of redcurrant jelly, fresh black raspberries, and crushed blackcurrants followed by hints of lavender, cinnamon stick, and dusty soil. The medium-bodied palate is elegant and refreshing, with soft tannins and lively red and black fruit layers, finishing earthy.

Utrolig fin cab fra Napa. Den har alt du forventer av en vin derfra, men den viser samtidig en godt balansert vin også.
