The 2022 Pinot Noir Coteaux Nobles, picked before the heat event, was tasted as a barrel sample 2-3 weeks before bottling. Medium ruby-purple in color, it sashays out with showy scents of red roses, fragrant earth, and Bing cherries leading to hints of underbrush, crushed rocks, and fresh raspberries. The medium to full-bodied palate is bright and youthful, delivering a solid line of firm, fine-grained tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing long and fragrant.

Medium to deep ruby-purple in color, the 2021 Pinot Noir Coteaux Nobles soars from the glass with notes of black raspberries, black cherries, and mulberries followed by nuances of violets, star anise, and garrigue. The full-bodied palate has a solid foundation of firm, fine-grained tannins and well-knit freshness to support the generous black and red berry layers, finishing long with an invigorating tingle of mint tea. Yum!
