This wine is deep ruby.
On the nose it has pronounced intensity with aromas of floral (lavender), red fruit (raspberry, wild strawberry, red cherry), black fruit (blueberry), herbal (fennel, oregano, rosemary, bay leaf), spice (black pepper), volcanic rocks, oak (vanilla, cedar), maturation (raisin, grilled plum, cured meat).
On the palate this wine is dry with high acidity, high tannins and high alcohol. With full body and pronounced flavour intensity. Flavours of red fruit (cranberry, raspberry), herbal (rosemary, dried herbs), cooked fruit, fruit driven, oak (vanilla), maturation (raisin).
A long finish and suitable for bottle ageing.
Quality is outstanding. 92 points.
