The 2023 Lafont-Fourcat Rouge is medium to deep purple-black in color. Notes of blackberries, black cherries, and mulberries spill from the glass, with hints of Provence herbs and fragrant earth. The medium-bodied palate is plush and spicy, finishing with a savory lift.

A blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Malbec, the 2022 Lafont-Fourcat has a deep garnet-purple color. Aromas of baked plums, star anise, and dried herbs waft from the glass with a blackberry pie and tar undercurrent. Full-bodied, soft-textured, and delivering bags of expressive black fruit preserves and exotic spices, it finishes with great length.
