Fyldig og konsentrert, god syre, godt med tanniner, lang stofflig ettersmak. Fremtredende smak av Eik og røde bær.

Amateur

Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2022 Pinot Noir SWK Vineyard bursts from the glass with bold notes of black cherries, mulberries, and black raspberries, leading to expressive hints of cinnamon stick, mossy tree bark, violets, and Sichuan pepper. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is taut with muscular black berry flavors, supported by fine-grained tannins and a racy line, finishing long with a spicy kick.

Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2021 Pinot Noir SWK Vineyard prances from the glass with fragrant notions of red roses, tilled soil, fallen leaves, and cinnamon stick, leading to a core of pomegranate, red currant jelly, and fresh blackberries. The medium-bodied palate is so, so light on its feet and delicately styled, delivering amazingly intense red and black berry layers with a refreshing line of acidity and very finely grained tannins, finishing long and tingly. Simply stunning, it’s the kind of Pinot experience that leaves you with goosebumps.

Helt og holdent blåst av banen av kvalitetsnivået - gåsehud! Bringebær, jordbær, noen lette mørke bær som bjørnebær og blåbær, florale toner og en mineralsk kjerne. Tror aldri jeg har opplevd en bedre og mer innbydende toppfrukt i en amerikansk pinot. Det er skjørt med nerve og hårfin balanse, men samtidig så håndverksmessig presist, tilstedeværende og livsbejaende. Som om Chambolle-Musigny og Yellowstone skulle fått barn - dette hører hjemme blant verdens kunstverk. Ett døgn senere har jeg fremdeles ikke forstått hva som traff meg en lørdag i Palmehaven - dette er kjærlighet!
