Clear, medium ruby

Dufter av kjølige mørke bær, med bjørnebær, crémê brúlee-vanilje og karamell. Jordbærsylte og markjordbær. Lysere, rødere frukt bak, med bringebær, jordbær og rødbærs-te. Lukter en veldig «ren» form for vanilje, som en faktisk vaniljestang. 

Tørr, lett til middels fyldig kropp. Middels alkohol og tannin frisket opp av høy syre. Fremtredende nese uten noen utvikling enda. 

Balansert. Lang og klar, konsentrert frukt. Ung fortsatt.

Block 8 2017

«I originally wanted to hide with this wine, because 17 was a difficult summer and harvest.« Jasmine drikke sjeldent 17, ikke fordi vinen e dårlig, men fordi minna e d. Recover’a litt etter å ha drukke d ikveld meinte ho, for det e virkelig en god vin. 

«Block 8 has always been considered daddys grand cru. 2007 he decided to make single vineyard wines. Took his seven best vineyards, made wine and blinded them. Surprisingly, block 8 was rejected at first, before he then realised that it was his grand cru. The problem might have been that it was so easily farmed, but easy wasn’t producing a wine that was «there». They went back, changed their ways of farming it and in 2011 block 8 would be a crime to not bottle alone. Alas, the first vintage of block 8 was released. It’s an amazing vineyard, but they had to learn how to treat it properly. In the winery it’s so distinct that just by smelling the tank walking is enough to identify it.»

WSET 2

The nose is slim and very fruity with raspberries and strawberries. There is also wet forest floor. The palate is slim, intensely fruity and acidic in a fine balance. The aftertaste is long and acidic, but also a bit rustic.

Expert

Friske røde bær, mer florale toner. 
Markjordbær, bringebær, blomster og urter.
Utrolig delikat og balansert. God lengde
