Youthful pale straw yellow, slight hint of green. Very fine nose, good intensity , good purity, very fine oak there, and layers of fruit. First of all it’s showing off minerals, minerality, wet stone, hazelnut, white flower; and the fruit quality is almost tropical here, not too flamboyant but really nicely ripe yellow fruit. Good depth on this one. Excellent bite, really really full bodied, really mouthwatering in terms of freshness, very persistent flavours. Oak is perfectly integrated, it’s giving off yellow stone fruit flavours, with those roasted nuts and fine spices all along. Really fine precision, and I’m always impressed at how a wine this level manages to combine that opulent rich texture, but still with that bone dry austere firm acidity. Really really well-made, with excellent élevage, very fine oak. Excellent length, really beautiful, really keeps lingering for a very very long time. Obviously it’s a wine of great pedigree, and maybe it’s a shame to enjoy it young, but I think it’s very tempting due to that power, that freshness, and that multitude of flavours and aromas you can get in there. Obviously it’s a wine with a very long potential in the cellar as well, but I already find this bloody delicious today. Could I have a lobster please?

Bright light golden colour. Youthful nose with high ripeness, purity and intensity, really fine and discreet oak with a whiff of vanilla and fresh butter, paired with ripe lemon and grape zest, pale stone fruit, crushed almond and hazelnut, good layers and complexity even if young. The palate has a marvelous concentration and bite with a vital acidity, stony and mineral with fine layers of oak, stone fruit, citrus, fine spicy notes and a very long dense finish.

Very bright colour just starting to develop a slight hint of very light golden. Excellent brightness. This one is really combining purity with intensity. Very very pure fruit here. A lot of stoniness and minerality paired with some hints of stone fruit, really like fresh pineapple, peach, ripe lemon. Then on top of that, there is a lot of nuttiness as well, like finely roasted hazelnuts. I really like that this one has a very very fine oak. The toastiness is really elegant and integrated. Despite that generosity and fruitiness, I still think it keeps its innocence because it is just so pure and intense at the same time. Excellent bite and grip on the palate, really full-bodied. Despite that generosity of fruit, those toasty notes, it keeps within that bone-dry frame. Mouth-watering acidity, very good extract. On the mid-palate, the fruit is emerging, ripe pear with those stone fruity notes. Finely toasted oak and a tremendously long finish. Beautiful purity and minerality on the finish, good extract, perfectly integrated wood. Bloody delicious.

Pale and bright yellow colour; very fine nose with great complexity and purity, mineral with roasted nuts, ripe citrus, and floral notes. Incredibly dense and textured with mouth watering acidity, elegant fruit, minerals and an incredibly long pure finish - a remarkable wine.
