Now optimally mature, displaying a youthful, bright lemon yellow colour that releases aromatic notes of pickled yellow lemon, citrus oil, grapefruit peel, candle wax, warm oaky toastiness, and wet flint minerals.⁠

The palate is round, layered, and creamy, featuring a spicy mineral core with much more potency and richness than the nose might suggest. This imparts great harmony and balance to the overall structure and depth.⁠

It drinks exceptionally well, 30 minutes of decantation helps and I believe this wine will further improve with another 5-10 years of cellaring. I've always found magnum (1.5-litre) bottles to have an advantage in texture, offering a rounder and creamier experience compared to their standard 75cl counterparts. 93+ ⁠
