Shines with its bright, youthful appearance and signature green tinge. After a 1-hour decantation, it unveils a symphony of aromatics, ranging from perfectly ripe apples and pears to citrus oils, warm vanilla spices, and intense wet flint perfume.⁠

On the palate, it impresses with superb concentration and structure, seamlessly integrated oak, and a delightful mix of green and golden apples, lanolin, candle wax, and rich, flinty minerals. The balance between texture and freshness is ideal, creating a phenomenal interplay between sweet and savory notes.⁠

While it feels ready to enjoy now, I can't help but wonder how it will evolve with another 5-10 years of aging, and even more so with over 10 years in the cellar. It remains my favorite expression of Montrachet. 98+⁠

Startet litt dempet og savnet litt konsentrasjon på smak, 30 minutter i flaske ga ekstrem utvikling, after eight, moden sitron, appelsinskall, fyldig anslag, nesten viskøs, høy konsentrasjon, medium pluss syre, ekstremt mineralsk.

Sommelier

nøtter og smør - det er «mye» som skjer her - noe fatpreg mot tørt treverk - medium syre - mer gul enn hvit frukt - konsentrert - svak fløtekaramell - pen lengde (91?)
