Deep garnet-purple colored. Is quite closed with subtle notes of red currant jelly and juicy strawberries, plus touches of dried herbs and pencil lead. The light to medium-bodied palate is lightly chewy and refreshing, while thin on flavor and short on finish.

The 2023 Belgrave has a deep garnet-purple color. Notes of wild sage and stewed red plums lead to hints of wet slate and black olives, with a hint of charcoal. The light to medium-bodied palate is a touch lean and simple, yet nicely composed with soft tannins and a refreshing finish.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2022 Belgrave leaps with bold notions of blackberry preserves, warm cassis, and chocolate-covered cherries plus wafts of lavender and black olives. The medium-bodied palate is light on its feet, with a soft texture, appealing freshness, and an uncomplicated finish.

This is savoury, well balanced, with Left Bank typicity in its slate, coffee bean and cassis friut lifted by mint, black pepper and all-spice, with the smoke of the gravel terroir. 29% new oak. Single point upscore. Guillaume Rousseau cellar master is originally from Burgundy. Tasted twice.

Inside Bordeaux

The 2020 Belgrave is deep garnet-purple in color. It opens with notes of dried herbs and mossy tree bark over a core of cassis, warm black plums, and charcoal. The medium-bodied palate is rugged and chewy, with a lively backbone and a lifted finish.

The 2019 Belgrave is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. It has medicinal, herbal notes on the nose to start off, leading to notions of crushed blackcurrants and blackberries, with a waft of damp soil. The medium-bodied palate is herbal, hard, and rustic, with a bitter finish.

The 2018 Belgrave is deep garnet purple in color. It features blackcurrants, black cherries, and mulberries, with hints of dried mint, cedar, and tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is firm and chewy, with a lively line and muscular fruit, finishing with a mineral lift.

Lukt av søte solbær og modne bjørnebær sammen med pepper, paprika, trøfler, tobakk, mint og vanilje. En spicy undertone.

På smak har den utviklet seg til å få en silkemyk struktur. Det er et fint rustikt preg og bra punch i vinen hele veien. Flere lag av mørke bær med mocca, lakris, tobakk, aske, jernbanesviller og vanilje. Ettersmaken sitter lenge. Tanninene er er små og finkornete.
