Deep garnet. Pronounce intensity. Leather, stable, earthy, mushrooms, fig, game, bandages and tobacco.
Dry with high acidity. Low tannins, medium alcohol, medium+ body and medium+ flavor intensity. Black current , leather and mushrooms. Long aftertaste. Very good.

WSET 3

Ruby red with a garnet rim. Delicate nose with exotic spice, blueberries and leather. Fresh acidity. Somewhat hollow fruit i the mid palate. Then cherries, spice, licorice and tobacco. It still has a tannic backbone. Long

Utrolig deilig duft og munnfølelse. Drukket til indrefilet med potet og p pure, sopp og rødvinssaus. Dufter masse. Blyantspiss, spisskummin, lær, tørket frukt og solbær. Særs lette tanniner, men bra syre fortsatt. En super vin. 91p

Amatør

The 2023 Citran is deep garnet-purple in color. It reveals faint scents of baked plums and dried cranberries, with touches of tobacco and dried herbs. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is soft and simple, with a subtle, savory finish.

The 2022 Citran is deep garnet-purple in color. It barrels out with pronounced scents of cassis, plum preserves, and kirsch plus suggestions of licorice, lilacs, and stewed tea. The medium to full-bodied palate is laden with ripe, juicy black fruits, supported by grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing earthy.

The 2021 Citran has a medium to deep garnet-purple color. It offers notes of dried herbs and red cherries, with touches of raspberry coulis and mossy tree bark. Medium-bodied, the palate has a good intensity of red berry and savory layers, with lightly chewy tannins and a lifted finish.

Good density and tannic depth, a youthful profile but rounded by crinchy dark fruit, bay , leaf cassis, tobacco and fine oak, good length.

Intense colour here deep ruby-red core, but nothing really blue or purple. So it is starting to fade a little bit at the rim, indicating a certain evolution. Quite classic nose here with dark fruity aromas, cassis, plum, with some herbal notes as well. Some leafy notes like bay leaf, tobacco, quite laid-back oak, just a hint of vanilla. Dense structure here, with nice dark fruit. Still appearing a bit youthful in terms of tannins. There is plenty of extract here, but good freshness, good balance. The tannins are not really hard, just present. I like those slightly spicy and herbal notes, like sage, bay leaf, mint. The wine has got a good length, it keeps lingering. So I would say good material, still a bit youthful in terms of the texture, but should be good material to further cellar.

Perfekt moden Bordeaux? Jeg synes i hvert fall det. Kompleks og delikat vin, med en flott kombinasjon av mørke bær og deilige modningsaromaer. Mørke bær, solbær, plomme, blyantspiss, stall, kaffe og lær. Drukket opp mot 2010 av samme vin  var det ingen tvil om at 05 var en bedre vin den kvelden. Mulig flaskefeil på 2010. 

Enda fin og fruktig, men avslipt. Spent på å se hvordan den aldres frem mot 2030.

Fair og digg ikke spektakulært akkurat men klassisk bordeux

Mørk rød farge. Lukter kirsebær og litt lær. Smaker modne epler og mørke bær. Savner litt fruktighet og syre. 

Luftet en time. Murstensfarge. Klassisk bdx-nese. Grafitt, sedertre og urter. Fortsatt en god del frukt igjen.
