Ruby red with a garnet rim. Delicate nose with blueberries, blackcurrant, cassis and leather. Fresh acidity. Seductive mouthfeeling. Very juicy with cherries, licorice, blueberries and spice. Nice balance and structure. Long.

Mye rødt eple, noe solbær, vanilje og krydder,noe grønt, 

Smaken er ikke som 96, virker friskere, leskende, men Ikke noe tyngde. Godt balansert dog. Syrlig for å være så gammel.

Cranberry and redcurrant fruits, edges of orange peel and liqourice, unfussy but soft on the finish, struggles to build momentum.  Merlaut family. 40hl/h yield, relatively generous yield for the vintage.

Inside Bordeaux

Medium to full intensity ruby red colour, raspberry and red cherry fruits, shot through with plenty of sinewy tannings on the opening, but loses momentum through the palate. This is a well-located estate with so much potential but struggles here to fully deliver on promise.

A paintbrush of inky colours, and this is a good vintage for Citran, with mocha, liquorice and fresh mint character, along with damson fruits, and Left Bank signature. The tannins have the vintage fingerprint, and close in sharply on the close of play, but it will soften with ageing; and this is charming.

The 2021 Citran has a medium to deep garnet-purple color. It offers notes of dried herbs and red cherries, with touches of raspberry coulis and mossy tree bark. Medium-bodied, the palate has a good intensity of red berry and savory layers, with lightly chewy tannins and a lifted finish.

The 2020 Citran is deep garnet-purple in color. It offers up suggestions of cedar and baking spices, over a cassis and black raspberries inspired core. Medium-bodied, the palate is delicate and refreshing, with a chewy texture and a savory finish.

Super Bordeaux til prisen! Fortsatt mye frukt og konsentrasjon 

Klassisk, med rått kjøtt, lær, syltede mørke bær, solbær. Absolutt endel utviklet, etter min smak, på toppen nå. Basisutvalget.

Enda fin og fruktig, men avslipt. Spent på å se hvordan den aldres frem mot 2030.

WSET 2

Utrolig deilig duft og munnfølelse. Drukket til indrefilet med potet og p pure, sopp og rødvinssaus. Dufter masse. Blyantspiss, spisskummin, lær, tørket frukt og solbær. Særs lette tanniner, men bra syre fortsatt. En super vin. 91p
