Medium intensity pale red, summer fruit basket on the opening aromatics, sappy and easy going, plenty of slate and pumice stone texture, early drinking and charming. Teycheney family owners, winemaker Nicolas Géré, consultant Jean-Claude Berrouet and his son Jean-François, estate located in St Etienne de Lisse. Harvest September 6 to 27. 11% ampohora, 30% in oak with 4.3% new, biodynamic certified. Indigenous yeast fermentation.

Inside Bordeaux

Floral aromatics, juicy vibrant plum,greengage, raspberry character, with grilled oak and floral character. Attractive wine from the commune of St Hippolyte.

Redcurrant and raspberry fruits, some blackberry puree adding a shot of sweetness, this is a rich wine given balance by a shot of redcurrant and pink grapefruit, with slate tannins. Good quailty, drying on the finish. 25% new oak, 19% amphora.

A quality estate located in St Hippolyte, on sand-limestone soils. Attractive ruby fruits, this is a touch reduced on the opening notes but clears to show supple raspberry fruits, slightly overly austere on the finish. Certified organic, biodynamic farming. Jean-Claude Berrouet consultant.

St Emilion punch and concentration with a gunsmoke edge and a mandarin peel and oyster shell twist. Plenty of nuances that elevate this above average in the appellation, worth looking out for. Touch of reduction, suggest leaving another few years befor drinking. Vignobles Jade, consutlants Jean Claude ane Jean Francois Berrouet, organic certified, 34% in amphoras, 17% new oak.
