A blend of 46 % Cabernet Sauvignon, 22 % Merlot, 17% Petit Verdot, and 15% Cabernet Franc, Les Hauts du Tertre 2023 is deep garnet-purple in color. It bursts with bright scents of raspberries and wild strawberries, plus suggestions of forest floor, lavender oil, and cardamom. Medium-bodied, the palate is bright and breezy, with approachable tannins and a lifted finish.

Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, the 2022 Les Hauts du Tertre opens with notions of wild thyme, damp soil, and charcoal over a core of red and black currants, plus a waft of raspberry leaves. Medium-bodied, the palate is savory and bright with firm, chewy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing on an herbal note.

Touch of reduction on first nose, but this is enjoyable and has depth and ripeness to the berry and damson fruits. An enjoyable 2nd wine.
