Earthy tannins and high extraction, lacking in the depth of fruit to really fill things out against the barrel character, although there is concentrated spice in evidence. 33% new oak for ageing, with the rest a blend of one and two year old. A tough vintage for this (in previous classification, new one due later this year) Cru Bourgeois Superieur owned by the Tereygeol family, located in Saint Seurnin de Cadourne. Threatens being swamped by the tannins, this is a big wine, solid construction, damson and blackberry fruits alongside fig and spice. 33% new oak barrels for ageing, along with 33% barrels of 1 wine and 33% barrels of 2 wines.

Good structure, Médoc typicity, dark fruits and eucalyptus, this is serious and understated if a little angular. Located in St Seurin de Cadourne, same owners as Domaine Tereygeol.
