The rich, seductive, full-bodied palate delivers beautiful harmony with a racy backbone and creamy texture, finishing long and spicy.

Pale lemon-gold in color, the 2023 Suduiraut swans out of the glass with flamboyant notes of candied orange peel, lemon meringue pie, lime cordial, and beeswax, followed by hints of preserved ginger, allspice, and white truffle. The palate is both rich and bursting with freshness, delivering waves of baking spice and citrus preserve flavors, leading to incredible length and layers on the finish of this stunning wine. This is 100% Semillon, with a pH of 3.80 and 150 g/l of residual sugar.

Amatør

This is gorgeous, jumps out of the glass with its grated ginger, white fleshy pear and luscious quince, 138g/l sugar, 50% new oak. A brilliant Sauternes, this is gorgeous, just a lovely wine, but only 1hl/h yield.

Inside Bordeaux

The 2019 Suduiraut, 94% Semillon and 6% Sauvignon Blanc, is pale lemon-straw in color. It charges out with flamboyant notes of orange blossoms, apricot preserves, and poached pears, plus wafts of beeswax, cedar, and allspice. The palate is rich, full, and hedonic, with a solid, racy backbone and great length.

The 2018 Suduiraut is medium lemon-gold in color. It comes bounding out of the glass with ready-to-go scents of baked apples, apricot preserves, straw, and praline, with a hint of crème caramel. On the palate there is well-restrained richness, with just enough freshness and a decadently spicy finish. 

Fine toast on the nose, almond, grilled pineapple, peach, citrus, dry spices with discreet oak. The palate is bold, rounded texture, layers of unctuous fruit and a rounded opulent finish.

Sommelier

Pale gold, vivid and enticing, this is totally gorgeous, fleshy pineapple, mango, quince, white pear, truffle, creme caramel and lime zest, still young and full of grip, opulent without being heavy. 150 g/l residual, 50% new oak for ageing

Pale straw-gold in color, the 2014 Suduiraut has a very pretty nose of lime blossom, lemon meringue pie, and fresh ginger followed by nuances of chalk dust, coriander seed, and manuka honey. The palate delivers compelling savory and evolved fruit nuances to complement the citrusy layers, finishing with a lively lift.

Pale to medium straw-gold in color, the 2013 Suduiraut slides seductively out of the glass with opulent notions of Seville orange marmalade, apricot preserves, and allspice, followed by wafts of jasmine tea, chamomile, and almond croissant. The palate is decadently rich yet light on its feet, with intense exotic spice and stone fruit preserves flavors and a very long finish.

The nose is slightly sweet but also very fruity with dried mango, orange jam, strawberry jam and caramel. The palate is full-bodied, fruity with ripe fruit, intensely sweet and nicely balanced. The finish is long and acidic. It is of course very young, but still nice to drink now. It paired perfectly to Roquefort.

Amateur

Lukt av moden gul frukt, fløtekaramell, smørbukk, pene aprikos og appelsin- toner. Samt veldig fremtredende krydder preg.

Smak av oransje frukt, appelsin, appelsinskall, modne mørke plommer og jul-krydder. Pen syre. Lang og konsentrert. 

Smakt hos Chateau Suduiraut.

Veldig lagdelt og dyp. Aprikos, nektarin, appelsin, appelsinskall, grillet sitronskall, krydder og urter. 

Smak av karamellisert gul frukt. Kanel og nyanserte krydder toner. En kremet munnfølelse og pen syre. Pen konsentrasjon, medium + lengde.

Smakt hos Chateau Suduiraut.

Duft av tørket kokos, sylta aprikos, moden klementin, gul fersken, gule plommer, feminine krydder- toner, samt vått treverk. 

Smak av ekstremt nyanserte aprikos og gule plommer. En karamellisert munnfølelse, med dominanse av gule modne frukter, med fin syre. Medium + konsentrasjon. 

Ekstremt høy drikkeglede.
