This is among the very best producers in Piedmont. The nose is airy, porous and fruity with cherries, blackberries and ripe strawberries. There are also dark red roses, moist forest floor, truffles and black tea. It is complex and exciting. 

The palate is medium-bodied, velvety, intensely fruity and medium-acidic. The tannins are mature and fully integrated. It is nicely balanced. The finish is long and fruity. It is lovely to drink now, and pairs perfectly with spring lamb from Klostergården in Rogaland. 

It is still at the very beginning of its optimal drinking window, and it can easily be aged for another 5-10 years.
