The 2021 Vecina is deep garnet-purple in color. Notes of black cherries, blackcurrant preserves, and juicy ripe plums slowly unfurl on the nose, opening out to notes of sassafras, aniseed, and pencil shavings. The medium to full-bodied is completely filled with black fruit layers supported by very firm, grainy tannins with just enough freshness, finishing long and perfumed.

The BOND Vecina 2020 has a deep purple-black color. It zips out with vivacious notions of warm cassis, blackberry preserves, and juicy black plums, giving way to notes of wild sage, fragrant earth, and truffles. Full-bodied, the palate is tightly wound with loads of black berry and earthy layers, supported by ripe, grainy tannins, finishing on a lingering minerally note.

The BOND Vecina 2019 has a deep purple-black color. It is quite closed to begin needing a few swirls to unlock notes of crème de cassis, black cherry preserves, and stewed plums, giving way to hints of cedar chest, graphite, mint tea, and licorice. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is fine-knit with grainy tannins and seamless freshness supporting the elegant layers, finishing with a quiet intensity.

Wow! Freidig, mørk drue-aroma med en frekk  lengde. Vinen smaker kjøtt blandet med en fyldig hvitvinsdrue. Sommelier Jon Trygve Hegnar har en opplevelse med denne jeg stiller meg fullt bak, nemlig at den minner svært om muskat-nøtt og aprikos - med et underliggende hint av granbar. Godt sagt!

The 2011 Vecina is deep garnet in color. Notes of raspberry coulis, baked plums, and boysenberry preserves spill from the glass, followed by hints of cracked peppercorns, Indian spices, and mossy tree bark. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers nicely evolving savory and black fruit preserves flavors accented by exotic spices and supported by lightly chewy tannins, finishing long and opulent.
