Middels rød farge. Kirsebær, krydder og nøtter på duft og smak. Modne flotte tanniner og balansert syrlighet. En kompleks og konsentrert vin. Lang tett ettersmak.

I tasted this 8 years ago. Then it was a big disappointment with a very low intensity fruit. It is therefore exciting to taste again. 

The wine is transparent and has a fresh red color. The nose is clean and fruity with raspberries, strawberries and some redcurrants. There are also dry forest floor, black tea and some licorice. It is elegant and appealing. The palate is slim, clean, and fruity in medium intensity. It's a nice balancing acidity. The finish is medium long and acidic. 

Compared to the riservas from 1997 and 2001 I have had recently, this lacks some intensity. But it is still a brilliant Brunello from a relatively weak vintage. It seems very young, but it is not certain that it will get any better. 92 points.
