The nose is fruity with cherries, ripe sweet cherries and blackberries. There are also red roses, forest floor in the autumn with wet moss, and dark chocolate. It is very complex and appealing. 

The palate is medium-bodied, completely clean, fruity as for the nose and with a little licorice. It is acidic and nicely balanced. The tannins are mature, elegant and well integrated. The finish is very long, fruity and complex. 

It is perfectly mature but can stay at this level for another 10 years. It paired perfectly with lamb ribs from Kvitsøy.
