Medium ruby. Strawberry, herbs, mushroom. High acidity and medium- body. Smoke, cranberry, lingonberry, minerals and spices. Super fresh and savory, long finish.

Amatør

Herlig saftig, mørk og fyldig frukt med stor munnfølelse. Typisk californiansk pinotfrukt av høy kvalitet her. Eiken dominerer noe. Litt urter, roseblad og eukalyptus i bakgrunnen.  

Amateur

Jeg vil ikke være en "downer" her, men pt har de fleste Bloomsene jeg har hatt vært i overkant grønne og ubalanserte. Vil de utvikle seg til noe bedre? Har de en type frukt (og nok av det + syre) til å miste det grønnebabyfettet og skinne om 5-10 år? Jeg er usikker. Det jeg vet er at dette er en vin som på papiret har et sett med kvaliteter som gjør at man er nødt til å vurdere den som en strålende vin, men som jeg ikke ser gir så mye drikkeglede - hvertfall ikke enda. Den er for ubalansert og grønn enda. Vi får se når noen av disse får noen år på baken om ting endrer seg.

Sommelier

Dense, distinct aroma of sun-dried tomatoes, backed by raspberry and sous bois. Flavour profile towards red- and wild berries, with the hallmark, lingering DDLC salinity. Great pleasure.

The nose is intensely fruity with ripe strawberries, wild strawberries and some blackberries. It is also earthy with a wet forest floor, and there is black tea leafs and sweet cigar. It is complex and very appealing. It is difficult to distinguish this from a high level Burgundy. The palate is medium-bodied, intensely fruity with raspberries, and with medium to high acidity. It is nicely balanced. The finish is long and acidic. It is a complex and brilliantly balanced wine that is in a lovely drink window now. 94 points.
