The nose is airy, light, and intensely fruity with ripe strawberries, sweet cherries, some blackcurrants and blackberries. There is also moist earth and some dark chocolate. It is complex, even though it is mostly primary. The palate is medium-bodied, airy, intensely fruity, now with raspberries, and medium-acidic. The tannins are noticeable but well integrated. The finish is long and fruity. 

It is lovely to drink now, but can be aged for at least another 15 years. It has enough potential to be just as good as the 2004 vintage which is lovely now.
