The 2021 Grgich Hills Estate Fume Blanc Sauvignon Blanc opens with notes of crushed rocks, struck flint, and chalk, giving way to a core of lime leaves, green apples, and elderflower. The medium-bodied palate is savory and crisp, with energetic citrus flavors and an earthy/chalky finish.

The 2020 Sauvignon Blanc Fume Blanc opens with slight sulfide scents of struck match/flint giving way to notes of fresh lemons, green apples, and passion fruit with wafts of wet slate and wild thyme. Light to medium-bodied, the palate is crisp and refreshing, with plenty of citrusy zip and a chalky finish.
