A blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 12% Petit Verdot, and 2% Merlot, the 2019 Novicium is only made with grapes from the Continuum estate. It is deep garnet-purple in color and delivers a knock-out nose of crème de cassis, blackberry preserves, and wild blueberries, followed by suggestions of Indian spices, camphor, rosemary, and red roses. Medium to full-bodied, with a firm and grainy texture, the palate delivers a generous amount of mouth-coating fruit, with seamless freshness and a spicy kick to the finish.

A blend of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 7% Petit Verdot, the 2018 Novicium is only made with grapes from the Continuum estate. It is deep garnet-purple in color and it strolls confidently out of the glass with bold expressions of black cherries, warm black plums, and boysenberries, plus suggestions of underbrush, clove oil, and lavender. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is taut and muscular with beautifully ripe, grainy tannins and wonderful tension, finishing long and perfumed.

A blend of 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Cabernet Franc, 21% Petit Verdot, and 24% Merlot, the 2017 Novicium is only made with grapes from the Continuum estate. It has a deep garnet color, with a touch of purple and it skips out of the glass with notes of redcurrant jelly, cassis, and Morello cherries, with touches of pencil lead, iron ore, and bay leaves. Medium-bodied, the palate is tightly wound with fine-grained tannins and beautiful freshness, with a long, minerally finish.
