The 2021 Wendling Vineyard Block E Pinot Noir is medium ruby-purple in color. It needs a bit of swirling to bring out notes of black raspberries, juicy cherries, and forest floor, leading to wafts of wild sage and fallen leaves. The medium-bodied palate bursts with energetic red and black berry layers, framed by grainy tannins and lovely freshness, finishing long with a spicy lift.
