La Croix Bellevue 2021 is medium garnet-purple in color. Notes of dried herbs and cranberries open out to touches of raspberry leaves and crushed rocks. Medium-bodied, the palate delivers tart cherry flavors and a lightly chewy texture, with crisp acidity and an herbal finish.

Medium intensity, chalky tannins, red fruits abound but are lacking in depth and concentration through the mid palate, and this slides to a quiet close. 3.7 pH. 25% new oak. 56.70 hl/ha. Harvest 13 September to 3 October

Inside Bordeaux

Enjoyable unfussy but with real character, this is good quality, easy to drink, great aromatic freshness, black fruits, liqourice and slate (located close to les Cruzelles). 56.7hl/ha yields, so extremely generous quantity, 25% new oak for ageing. Benoit Trocard.

Fully ripe with fig and cherry pie, clearly fully ripe and shot through with lovely spicy cinammon, turmeric, lemon peel, slate, crushed stones, with a build up of tannins through the finish. 50% new oak, 25% one year, 25% two year barrels.

La Croix Bellevue 2020 has a medium to deep garnet-purple color. It rolls out of the glass with bold notes of baked blackberries and boysenberries, followed by wafts of forest floor, wild fungi, and charcoal. The medium-bodied palate is vibrant and refreshing with well-managed, approachable tannins and a dried herb-laced finish.
