The nose is silky and fruity with cherries, blackcurrants and blackberries. There is also dark chocolate and truffles. It is complex and incredibly exciting. 

The palate is rich, velvety and intensely fruity. There's a little alcohol, but that's what we drink after all. The finish is very long and complex. 

This can be aged for many more decades, but it will not necessarily get better.

En flott vintage portvin som trenger lang lagring før den viser seg fra sin beste side. Duft av bjørnebær, lakris, solbær, urter, fat og krydder. Fyldig med god syre. Rik, søtog strukturert frukt med preg av mørke bær, lakris, krydder og fat.

Deep crimson red. Young with cherries, cherry stones, milk chocolate and dark berries. Fresh mouth feeling. Loads of power and detail at the same time. Cherries, licorice, spice, deep tightly packed fruit and berries. Crisp and vibrant. Structured with a quite tannic backbone. Very long.

Høy intensitet på nese med sedertre, lær, krydder, rød lakris, sitrusskall, vanilje og jordbær. Frisk og urtepreget på smak med moden søt frukt og  lakris på midt. Pent balansert alkohol og lang avslutning.

Svak alkohol på duft, varm i munnen, men ekstremt lang, strålende hale med kaffe, "stein" og søte kirsebær - syrlig fløtesjokolade - jolly good and charming (96)
