Medium ruby-purple in color, the 2020 Bodega Ridge Vineyard is a little closed to begin, offering broody charcoal and fertile loam scents before opening out to an evocative core of juicy blackberries, black cherries, and pomegranate, followed by nuances of star anise, cardamom, and black tea. The medium-bodied palate is very tightly wound with fine-grained tannins and bright, lively acidity supporting the vibrant black fruits, finishing long and perfumed.

Kraftpakke av amerikansk pinot. (not in the bad way). Mørk, glansende purpurfarget. Intens duft av bjørnebær, plommer og syrlig kirsebærstein. Spekteret av smak går fra de mørke bæraromaene til salt mineralitet - til fylde og ryggrad du sjelden finner i PN uten at produsenten har jukset. Dette må være den beste produsenten av PN på det amerikanske kontinentet for øyeblikket.

Medium to deep ruby-purple colored, the 2021 Pinot Noir Bodega Ridge Vineyard opens with profound earthy notes of damp soil, black truffles, charcoal, and crushed rocks, leading to a core of fresh blackberries and mulberries, plus a waft of wild sage. The medium-bodied palate is taut and tight-knit with black fruit and earthy layers supported by silt-like tannins and bold freshness, finishing very long and savory.
