Deep ruby in colour.

On the nose notes of cherries, black currant, jam, oregano and star anise.
On the palate pronounced aromas of darker fruits such as black cherries, a bunch of green herbs and burnt wood. 

Dry, full bodied Xinomavro with high alcohol, medium acidity, long finish and soft-ish tannins. 

Worked well with a beefy taco with feta cheese and kale. Decent purchase for the price.



Expert

Absolutt strålende gresk vin med tørket frukt, jordbær, tørr, finstrukturerte tanniner, kan absolutt minne om en Nebbiolo eller en Barbaresco fra Piemonte.

Vinjournalist

Skjønner ikke helt nebiolo-sammenligningen mange gir denne drua. for meg fremstår den som en naturdrevet og mørk pinot noir, juicy og lett, selv med massiv og fullbody profil.

Dette er nok en super xino. ikke helt på høyde med Alpha Estate Reserva (foreløpig favoritt), men med lavere pris er dette er topp kjøp om du er fan. 

Krekling, eik og blod (på en god måte) i nesa. Lett tobakk og stramme kirsebær. Mose og stein. Kompleks og stor, Xino gir nesten alltid skogsfeeling. Tydelige tanniner. Lang.
