The intensity of the violet-edged colour extraction is pretty remarkable in the Médoc, and this manages to get the balance right between intensity and appeal, alongside vibrant raspberry, brushed damson and bilberry fruit, given lift by pomegranate and and passion fruit, and a curl of smoked earth. One to look out for, should be great value. 35% amphoras, 65% barrels for ageing.

Inside Bordeaux

The 2022 Angludet is deep garnet-purple in color. It has a very pretty, open-knit perfume of roses, kirsch, and black raspberries, leading to a classic core of cassis and pencil lead. The medium-bodied palate is soft and plush, with plenty of red and black berry flavors on offer and a refreshing finish. This is nice!

Fragrant, floral, white flowers, just super sappy and enjoyable, well balanced and carefully constructed, a little dilute through the mid palate but the focus is on the fruit. Sichel family owners, headed up by Benjamin Sichel. 60% barrels and 40% amphoras. 29 hl/ha yield. Biodynamic certified.

The 2023 Angludet is deep garnet-purple in color. It slips gracefully from the glass with a subtle nose of black cherries, juicy strawberries, and bay leaves, plus a waft of roses. The light to medium-bodied palate is lightly chewy, with delicate red berry and savory flavors, finishing with an herbal lift.

Smoked, grilled raspberry and red cherry, touches of tomato leaf and peony, earthy but with real charm, good quality, cool climate feel with real charm. 26hl/h yield after frost. 50% amphora, 50% oak barrels.

Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2020 Angludet features scents of blackcurrant cordial, cedar, and raspberry leaves, followed by hints of tobacco leaf and sweaty leather plus a medicinal waft. The medium-bodied palate delivers a good amount of black fruits, with rugged, chewy tannins and a rather rustic, leathery finish.

Dyp rød, lukt av urter, hint av skogsbær, myk, rund og lett fyldig smak. litt ung.

Amatør

Huge concentration, with smoked spice and fresh acidities, majoring on cassis and blueberry fruits. Unfussy and charming, tannins already supple, this is an enjoyable, early drinking Margaux with crushed rosebud notes as it opens. A high proportion of Petit Verdot in this vintage because they lost lost 70% of the crop to mildew, a particular blow after losing everything to frost in 2017 (it was the first serious frost since 1991, so they were really was taken by surprise although have since invested in various counter-measures). It means they produced 30,000 bottes (usually up to 150,000) from a yield of 10hl/h. 100% French oak (as of 2019 they began to add some amphoras into the ageing mix). We are in rich powerful territory here, in line with what you hope from a 2016, and shows you don't have to go to classified estates to find it. Showcasing soft rose petals and peony on the aromatics, with touches of gunsmoke, raspberry, slate and liqourice. A little closed right now, austere even with clear tannic hold but it softens quickly, and is full of enjoyment. An extremely impressive Angludet, one that I would hold on to, suggest drinking the 2017 (not tasted in this lineup) or 2018 before this. Great stuff from co-owner and winemaker Benjamin Sichel.

I perfekt drikkevindu som 10 år gammel. Fortsatt masse spentstig frukt. Strukturen helt myk og delikat. Fine lagringstoner i bakgrunnen og moderat syre gir balanse.

på tide at noen vurderer denne vinen! dette er en fantastisk rødvin med en vakker dyp rødfarge. den er meget fruktig, kjent stil fra Bordeaux. personlig nøt jeg denne vinen i høyden, bedre kjent som kollen, der atmosfæren er tynner og oksideringen gir derfor et sterkt preg på vinen (kan også nytes i lavere terreng). til slutt vil jeg fokusere på vinens aroma. ved åpning traff en vegg av røde bær meg, senere kunne en aroma av plomme inntreffe. jeg har intet vondt å si om denne vinen. anbefales

Varme kirsebær, solbærblad og mørk sjokolade på lukt. Fyldig og intens med meget god syre. Lær, høy og fersk jord møter etterhvert den konsentrerte frukten. Myke tanniner, men fortsatt bra struktur. Syren sitter lenge. Tåler flere år - men innenfor drikkevindu.
