It comes bounding from the glass with eager-to-please notes of wild blueberries, juicy raspberries, and ripe plums, followed by hints of lavender and iron ore. The medium to full-bodied palate is bright and refreshing, with lively red and black fruits and a soft texture, finishing with a provocative lift.

The 2023 Bernateau has a medium to deep garnet-purple color. Scents of fresh plums and blackberries jump from the glass, followed by hints of tar, bay leaves, and underbrush. Medium-bodied, the palate is delicately styled, with compelling freshness and soft tannins, finishing with a skip in its step.
