The 2022 Haut-Troquard La Grace Dieu is deep garnet-purple in color. It swans out of the glass with evocative notes of baked black plums, spicy blackberries, and black cherry compote, leading to hints of fallen leaves and sandalwood. The medium to full-bodied palate is firm and grainy, with bags of ripe, expressive black fruits and a fragrant finish.

The 2023 Haut-Troquard La Grace Dieu has a medium to deep garnet-purple color. It needs a bit of coaxing to bring out notes of blackberry pie, Morello cherries, and black tea leaves, leading to an undercurrent of cedar and wild sage. Medium-bodied, the palate is lively with well-managed, approachable tannins and a red berry lift on the finish.
